Etelldia (エーテルディア)? is the fantasy world where the events of A Journey Through Another World: Raising Kids While Adventuring take place. In other words, Etelldia is the isekai (異世界)? in Isekai Yururi Kikō (異世界ゆるり紀行)?, the Japanese title of the franchise.
Background[]
Etelldia was created by the Creator God Marianolla. It is currently overseen by Marianolla and her five brethren, each one controlling one specific element. For example, Wyndell commands the element of water, while Sylphyryll commands the element of wind and Salamantyll commands the element of fire. Each god cannot intervene into the matters of any other god.
Some aspects of daily life also fall within the jurisdictions of specific gods. For example, according to Ch. 28Manga, the art of cuisine (or cooking) falls under Salamantyll's jurisdiction, as cooking often involves heating, which requires fire. The concepts of child-rearing and education fall within the scope of Marianolla herself.
Etelldia is shown in Ch. 38WN / Ch. 18Manga to have three moons: a yellow moon, a red moon, and a blue moon. During most nights, only one of the three moons is visible; during some other nights, two of the moons may share the nightly scene. Only rarely do all three moons show up simultaneously in one same night.
Geography[]
Etelldia takes the shape of an irregularly-shaped, longitude-elongated continent, with a few islands around it. It is dominated by the Forest of Gaia, located in its center-south region.
Nations[]
| There are 12 recognized sovereign nations in Etelldia: | ||

All of these nations skirt the southeast, east, northeast, north, northwest, west, and southwest edges of Etelldia, with the innermost of them surrounding the Forest of Gaia.
Society[]
Etelldia is a feudal world reminiscent of Europe during the Middle Ages. There is a contrast between nobility and peasantry, with the worker class rarely receiving visits from noblemen and usually asking for advance notice whenever important people decide to pay them visits (as can be seen in Ch. 36WN / Ch. 17Manga when Derrick Louren, commander of the Knights of Guadia's Shireen Branch, visits the Golden Bakery owned by Rhode).
According to Ch. 8WN, the age of legal majority (or adulthood) in Etelldia is set at 15; this is reiterated in Ch. 26WN when Takumi Kayano is said by other adventurers to look like he had just "come of age". No mentions of legal age are present in the manga or anime adaptation. In spite of this, there is no minimum age being observed for registering as adventurers at any of the various Adventurer's Guilds across Etelldia, as expressed by Luna, receptionist at the Shireen guild, in Ch. 8WN / Ch. 2Manga / Ep. 1Anime.
