Michelle (ミチェル)? is a baker who works at the Golden Bakery (owned by her father Rhode) at the town of Shireen in Guadia, Etelldia.
In the anime adaptation's original Japanese version, she is voiced by voice actress Yūko Okui (奥井ゆうこ)?.
Background[]
In Ch. 24WN / Ch. 4Manga / Ep. 2Anime, Takumi Kayano and his party arrive at the Golden Bakery, only to find Michelle warning that the shop is closed for the day. Takumi informs her that he has a request for the shop. Her father Rhode steps in to inquire him about his request, which is to make a certain type of bread using two ingredients: jam and custard cream (the latter which he had never seen before). Takumi's request is to add those two ingredients to the bread dough before baking it. Confused by the odd request, Rhode does not consider it impossible but admits he had never attempted so before, to which Takumi responds that he will show them how to do it. After learning from him, Rhode and Michelle start to prepare this new type of bread; Alan and Elena also join in in the preparation of the bread.
The resulting bread proves to be a sensational delicacy, so Rhode makes it a brand-new menu item at the Golden Bakery and offers to pay Takumi a share of the profits, something Takumi generously declines before embarking on his next adventure along with Alan and Elena.
Appearance[]
Michelle has brown eyes and hazelnut-brown hair, the latter which is tied in twintails with orange-colored ribbons. Her bakery uniform is off-white, with orange borders around the folded neck collar and around a rectangular patch in the abdomen area, which contains six orange buttons; its medium-length sleeves' ends have alternating orange-offwhite-orange stripes. A yellow neckerchief hangs from her neck, reaching down to her bosom area.
